Walter J. Kucaba, DDS, MS, a periodontist, is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a Bachelor Degree in Biology. He received his DDS Degree from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in New York. He received a Certificate in Periodontics and a Masters Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Southern Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, the American College of Oral Implantology and the International College of Oral Implantologists. He is on the staff of the Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care as well as the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center where he is a consultant to the Department of Oncology. Dr. Kucaba speaks nationally and internationally on conventional and reduced diameter implants. Dr. Kucaba ’s private practice, with emphasis on tissue regeneration and implant dentistry, is located in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
