Dr. Walter J. Kucaba has been treating the periodontal and implant needs of upstate patient's for 23 years.  He is a graduate of Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery and received his specialty training at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry at Chapel Hill.  He is a member of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Southern Academy of Periodontology, Sleep Disorders Dental Society, Academy of Osseointergration as well as other Dental Implant Societies and a member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy.  He is on the staff at The Hospital for Restorative Care and Spartanburg Regional Medical Center where he is also consultant to the Department of Oncology.  Dr. Kucaba speaks nationally and internationally on topics from conventional and mini dental implants to oral appliances for the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea.

All patients receive a thorough explanation of their problems and proposed treatment using digitalized images and computer simulations.
